Welcome to Pure Weddings

Congratulations!

And welcome to Pure Weddings, the bridal magazine dedicated to creating your perfect North West wedding.

Your wedding is one of the happiest and most important days in your life. Of course there’s a seemingly never-ending list of things to organise and decisions to be made, from whether you’re having a church or civil ceremony to the perfect venue for your reception, from colour schemes and wedding themes to who to invite and where to seat them all.

Which is where we, at Pure Weddings step in. Time and time again we’re told it’s our ‘localness’ that makes our magazine and now our new-look website invaluable. Filled with ideas from around the North West, from wedding deals at local venues to the dress shops that stock those glamorous designer gowns you’re after we aim to take some of the stress out of creating your perfect wedding.

Pure Weddings Winter 2010

After all those Christmas and New Year proposals what better way to start a new year than looking at some beautiful wedding dresses? Our exclusive photo shoot at Knowesley Hall in Merseyside provided a beautiful setting for some gorgeous gowns loaned to us by Cambric Gowns.

In this issue we also look at the weddings trends for 2010, plenty more real life weddings to give you, the reader lots of inspiration and ideas. We’ve got tips from a local florist on how to use your bridal flowers to best effect decorating your reception venue, look at what to expect from a typical photography package and discover what makes cupcakes the ideal choice for a wedding. With lots more fashion for everyone from the groom to the mother-of-the-bride and a look at eco-friendly honeymoons for those of you who want a treat without harming the planet our winter issue has all you’ll need when starting to plan your northern wedding…and lots more!

The Winter issue of Pure Weddings is on sale from January 8th at just £1.95. We hope you enjoy it and that you’ll keep an eye out for the Spring/Summer issue in April
